DRESS CODE

All members, guests, sponsors, event organizers, and vendors of Wascana Country Club are expected to uphold the "Wascana Standard", which represents attire and behavior appropriate for a private country club, reflecting respect for the club’s traditions and all its members. Members are responsible for informing their guests of the club’s dress code prior to their arrival. Similarly, sponsors and event organizers hosting outside events must ensure that their guests and participants are aware of and adhere to the club’s dress code.

As dress standards may evolve with contemporary golf fashion, any questions regarding the acceptability of attire should be reviewed with Club Management. Wascana Country Club values the cooperation of all members and guests in preserving the tradition, atmosphere, and standards that make our club a distinguished and welcoming community.

Any instances of non-compliance with the dress code will be formally reported and reviewed by the General Manager to ensure our club standards are upheld.

The dress code for the casual dining room is smart casual. Members and guests are asked to dress neatly and appropriately when enjoying this space.

Attire that is not permitted includes cut-offs, gym clothes, hats, and torn or ripped jeans.

Please note that members and guests must change from their on-course attire into smart casual clothing, as outlined in this dress code, before entering the casual dining room.

To ensure you feel at ease, are appropriately dressed for the event, and comply with our club dress code policy, here’s a helpful guide.

  • Smart casual is the required dress code for all members and guests, including children.
  • We ask that all attire be refined and appropriate for the occasion, in keeping with our private club’s traditions.
  • Denim (jeans), hoodies, yoga wear, sweats, hats, or similarly casual attire are not permitted in the ballroom.

We kindly ask members to communicate these expectations to their guests in advance.
