For almost a full century, Wascana Country Club has been an integral part of Regina; proving itself as a haven for some of the city’s best and most discriminating golfers. Since its doors first opened in 1911, it has evolved into one of Saskatchewan’s premier golf courses. Club members have meticulously continued its long-standing tradition of golf excellence by maintaining the high standards that continue to bring Regina golfers back year after year.

The lush par 73 course plays to 6991 yards from the championship tees and has multiple teeing areas for all levels of play. Wascana has 20 playable holes allowing for 18 holes in play during periods of maintenance and/or renovation work. Recent renovations include the construction of several new state of the art greens, tees, and fairway bunkering complexes enabling Wascana to continue to elevate the level of challenge and conditioning of its private club status. The course is located along Wascana Creek, and is strategically landscaped to provide a beautiful, yet somewhat secluded area. Though it’s located only minutes away from the city, it is quiet enough to give the illusion of being many kilometers out of town.

The golf holes are lined with mature towering trees with views of the city skylines. Some 40,000 annual flowers are intermixed into perennial beds adding unparalleled colorful shows that contrast the deep green turf grasses on the course. Course Superintendent Mike Kupchanko brings to Wascana in excess of 20 years experience and is continuously advancing the reputation of the conditions for the club. The club has plans to continue with renovations and improvements keeping Wascana at the leading edge of golf into the foreseeable future.
